2. Our services

a. Nature Connection Events
Bookings and payments are made either through Eventbrite or via the organisation offering the event – please see the event listing for booking details.

Event places are limited, so pre-booking is essential, unless otherwise stated. Most events require a minimum of 3 participants to go ahead.

Nature connection walks and activities – including forest bathing and natural mindfulness walks – are a gentle form of exercise, requiring a moderate level of fitness. They take place in woodland and natural settings, which may have trip hazards, slopes and uneven ground. The session can involve slow walking, standing and sitting on the ground.

Everyone taking part in an activity does so at their own risk. Each participant must assume responsibility for their own safety and take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of other participants and other members of the public. When you join a walk or other event, you indicate that you accept these conditions.

Any mobility or health issues must be notified in advance, and we reserve the right to turn people away if they have not disclosed any mobility issues before the walk. In this case, they will be offered a refund or transfer of their booking to another event.

Participants are advised to arrive with correct footwear, wear appropriate clothing for the time of year and sufficient water or snacks. An email will be sent in advance of the walk detailing what to bring. If in doubt, please check with Nicola. We reserve the right to turn people away if they are not wearing suitable clothing for the weather and terrain. In this case, they will be offered a refund or transfer of their booking to another event.

In extreme weather conditions, based on Met Office and/or BBC Weather forecasts, events may be cancelled or postponed. In this case, people will be offered a refund or transfer of their booking to another event.

b. Consultancy

We provide consultancy services that include, and is not limited to, support, development, delivery and training on nature connection projects, programmes and activities. Please contact Nicola@companyofnature.co.uk for terms and conditions.
